WeNurture is a family services organization dedicated to strengthening families with grace and wisdom, rooted in the Christian faith. We believe in the power of strong family foundations and offer a safe space for parents, caregivers, and communities to seek guidance and professional support.
Kristen Wong, Founder
Kristen's journey has woven together experiences in education, corporate business, and ministry, each chapter informing the next. Her path took a meaningful turn during a service trip to Cambodia, which inspired her to leave the corporate world. After starting a family, Kristen and her husband spent over a decade serving in marriage and family ministries at their church while raising their three children. This experience deepened her conviction that a strong marital relationship is a pillar of thriving families and communities.
Driven to support families on a deeper level, Kristen pursued a Masters of Counselling. She completed her placement at an international school in Hong Kong, counselling children from primary to secondary years through the COVID-19 pandemic. This hands-on experience led her to focus on systemic change, working through families to create lasting well-being for children.
Kristen was led to transformative training with Elijah House and then Connected Families, where she discovered the Connected Families Framework was not just a helpful tool, but a transformational journey for her own family.
As a certified Connected Families Parent Coach, Kristen is dedicated to empowering parents with practical tools and grace-filled guidance. Her personal mission is to strengthen families by equipping parents to build peaceful, connected homes where every child can thrive.
